Kahaz has been belly dancing and teaching in Bangor, Maine for more than 25 years. Audiences from Canada to Boston and beyond recognize her elegant, friendly style and her attention to the history of the dance. Her students love her empathy and creative understanding of the challenges they face.

Bangor Middle Eastern Dance Festival

Evening Show:

Kahaz runs weekly classes to suit a variety of situations:

• Tuesdays at 8:00 P.M. in the YMCA on Hammond St.
  This class is appropriate for beginners.
• Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:30 P.M. at EMMC.
  This class is appropriate for both beginning and continuing dancers.
• Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. in Bangor.
  This class is for dancers who have mastered the movements of the dance and wish to move on to performances and professional dancing. Beginners may attend one of the preceding classes.
